In October we were present at 𝐇2𝐎 & 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 2023, an annual event, of national and international scope, which included a conference and a fair event space (exhibition fair) for the themes of Water, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Digital Transformation, Science of Data and Sustainable Tourism, seeking to promote collaborations and aiming to solve problems and concrete needs in these themes.
Project finalists were also presented in the various categories, namely startups, including LS Engenharia Geográfica, which, was classified in an honorable 3rd place, with the SWaD project (Satellite Water Detection). This technology, developed with its own capital, uses remote sensing resources and a proprietary algorithm to identify natural and artificial water reservoirs, using satellite images. It is a tool with global application that allows to identify river basins and automatically calculate their average capacity and depth.
